Our Charity.
Our Community.
The Guardians Grow Charity started its roots as a community group, evolving and reaching charity status in November 2020, in the heart of the Covid 19 Global Pandemic.
Our Vision
Social justice, where poverty has been overcome. Equality for all. Living in dignity and security in their communities.
Our Mission
Serving our communities by providing services and projects that empower individuals and communities to thrive and reach their full potential.
Our Partnerships
We are proud to work in partnership with ROSA to support and empower those who are victims of sexual abuse. Rosa provides weekly drop in sessions every Thursday between 12pm and 2pm
We work closely with Orbit Housing association to offer a FREE support service to help maintain wellbeing. See our "Whats on?" page for more info about sessions we have coming up at The Makery.
We are huge advocates for NHS Talking Therapies and we are building connections to offer open days in conjuction with NHS Talking Therapies in order to break the stigma of having mental health worries. So watch this space!

The Makery Cafe
The Makery offers a selection of regular, vegetarian and vegan dishes that cater to everyone's needs, from savoury to sweet; from a quick bite to a hearty dish of the day.
(All food is subject to availability)
Buy, Read, Swap or Donate a book
With our Makery library, we encourage you to sit with us in our cosy reading area and settle in with a lovely drink and a bite to eat in our warm hub. You are more than welcome to buy any of our books for a donation to our Guardians Grow charity. If you have read a book, why not come and give it a swap over and enjoy something new (we have lots to choose from!)
We are always looking for book donations. If you have any books to donate, please bring them down to us at The Makery, Abbeygate Shopping Centre, Newdigate Street, Nuneaton.
Arts/Crafts Studio
As you venture through The Makery, you will stumble upon our activity room in which we hold a number of crafting activities (as well as other things) So if you fancy getting your creative head on, feel free to pop in and join in. We are always wracking our brains for more sessions, so if you have any ideas for sessions we could hold, please pop in and chat to our friendly volunteers! All you need is your imagination and we can go from there.
The Wishing Tree
This is our wishing tree, up all year round. Here we have our 'Pay it Forward' vouchers, where you can gift another person a drink or some food if they are unable to buy it themselves - so they can enjoy it in our lovely warm hub.
The Creation Station
Come in and get your creative head on with our range of supplies. Practice your mindfulness with some colouring or create something new. Whatever comes to mind, give it a go or ask one of our lovely volunteers for some ideas. You can even pop your creation up for everyone to enjoy.
